Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy farm.
Down the race without a trace went Hairy Maclary.
Hairy Maclary said hi as he went by to Hercules Morse the big black horse.
Next Hairy Maclary saw Muffin mclay in the barn full of hay for Hercules Morse the big black horse.
Hairy Maclary Heard a roar from Scarface Claw the big cat by the dairy door.
Blitza Maloney that silly Pony eating macaroni.
Schnitzel von krumm slipped on his bum by the drum fill of buns.
Bottomley Potts sitting by the flower pots
At the end of the day Hairy Maclary asleep in the hay ,what a day .

I really enjoyed reading your own version of Hairy Maclary. I think it is really impressive that you were able to keep the rhyme too!
I also really liked that you kept the original characters names too (it was kind of like a farm version of the story!). I am curious to find out what animals the other characters might be!
I think my favourite character from the story is Hercules Morse! I like big dogs, how about you? Who's your favourite?
