SLJ W3 D2 A1 peace out (1960s)

My favourite TV show

I don't watch much TV but sometimes I watch American pickers with Mum and Dad.
American Pickers is a show about buying and selling antique treasures. The main people are Mike and Frank and their assistant Danielle and sometimes Mike's brother Robbie.
Their business is called Antique Archaeology. I would like to try to make money from buying and selling like them, but I don't know the history of things like they do.
This show is on the Choice channel at 1930 and TVNZ Duke at 1740.

  1. Hey Caleb!

This sounds like an interesting show, I haven't seen it before but I'm sure they find some really awesome antiques!
What is the best/weirdest antiques you've seen on the show?

Thank you for providing such a clear description of the show, what it is about and who is in it! great job and I love the picture :)

So if you don't watch too much TV, what do you like to do instead?

Keep up the awesome job Caleb, you have a great blog to read and you are doing awesome at completing the Summer Learning Journey activities.

Excited to read your next post!

    3. Hi Caleb!

Wow that does sound cool...it kinda sounds like one of those baby hummer cars for kids! Like this:

I am glad you get to hangout outside so much and enjoy it! Me and my siblings used to play a lot outside as well, especially up the bush out the back of our house trying to build forts and swings!

That's also really cool that you can help out your family around their farms! This sounds like a lot of fun. Do you have a machine you use to make the baleage?
I had a friend with the big plastic wrapped circles of bale at her house and we used to play on them!haha I don't think we were meant to do that though....

Man you will already know all their is to know about being a dairy farmer by the time you are looking for a job, no wonder it was one of your dream jobs!

      Thanks Caleb!

    5. Oh my gosh!! That's sooooo many bales!! Me and my friend would have had so much fun playing at your Grandy's farm!
That sounds really cool Caleb, do you get to have a turn on the machine? What's your job in the baleage process?

  2. I go with Grandy on the tractor to pick up the bales and load the trailer and take them back to the cowshed.

Oh wow, that is a lot of loading and unloading for 700 bales! I am sure the cows looooove you!
How many bales do you have to make over the summer? More than 700?
